Hi. I’m Christine,  engagement journalist. I believe in the power of conversation, stories, and access to information to strengthen communities—local and worldwide. I currently lead partnerships and communications with PBS Newshour Student Reporting Labs,  a youth journalism training program that connects young people to real-world experiences and educators to resources and community.

I previously led grantee community initiatives with the National Geographic Society,  and worked in public engagement with PBS SoCal and Roadtrip Nation.  In 2022, I completed my Engagement Journalism M.A. at CUNY’s Craig Newmark School of Journalism, and  at the core, I am a graduate of UCLA’s International Institute, always seeking  to explore the intersection of globalization, economics, culture, and governance.
